Hi everybody,
I have to use XP by day ( work problem ), I currently use PClinuxOS, and previously Mandriva2008 by night. I switched from Mandriva for two main reasons, Firstly, I needed to use a package called CAELinux, which comes with a PClinuxOS live DVD, and couldn't get the jack audio package and ardour running on M2008.
I would best describe my self as a programming hobbyist. I am in the process of learning QT4 and C++, a bit of a struggle at times.
I use QDevelop as a development platform, as I can run the same system at work using XP, and at home using Linux.
I have not been active on this group, but have received a lot of help from other groups, in particular the Mandriva group.
