Hello LQ members! I am Patrick from Longueuil, Canada (Quebec)
 

I've been using Linux for the past 12 years. I had an old Pentium 133 Mhz for a while on Suse 6.2. I upgraded last year to a P4 1.3 Ghz (768 Mb RAM)and re-installed Suse 6.2. I am no expert though but played around with it.

I just installed KUbuntu 7.10 just recently on a Dell Latitude CPi
(P2 200mhz with 256 MB RAM). Just today, I finally got my wireless working following tips found here.

I am fortunate to be working on Linux (Red Hat 3.? soon upgrading to Release 4) all day supporting production and programming for a major company.

I am looking forward in learning a lot more by joining the LQ community and helping out anyone that needs some of my modest experience.

I get most of my info from my monthly Linux Journal, still the best after all these years.
