Hello Linux Friends

I still consider myself a newbie to Linux. I am an electrical engineer. I have used Linux off and on at work to run various tools, always logging in remotely to a box administered by others. A few months ago I set up a desktop at home with Suse Linux to run FPGA design tools. I find myself using my Linux box more and my windows box less all the time. Maybe some day I can abandon the windows box permanently. I am grateful for all the help that kind people post and all the fantastic free software that people write for Linux.
