Hello...I am a new Puppy Linux user

Hello, my name is Bill, I live in Frederick, MD. I recently was given an old Fujitsu laptop with a Pentium III CPU. I researched small, lean operating systems, and tried Puppy Linux. I was pleased to discover it made this old laptop my fastest computer!

Hi Bill, that's a good story - thanks for sharing it.

I too was pleasantly surprised many months ago, when we installed Puppy on our 10+ year old Pentium II Toshiba Satellite laptop , and it worked great. Puppy's a decent little distro.

Welcome to LQ - enjoy the forums.
