Hello everybody. As you can see by my user name I must be a very big Suse Linux fan. I'm quite disappointed about the ZEN updater in 10.1. What were they thinking! It won't even work. But, they probably will come up with a patch.
Yes wini q. You're right. The problem is that 10.2 will probably be released 6 months from now. I read that Slackware is called "The first and original linux distro".
For some reason the ZEN updater on my system works! I used YAST Online Update it updated some packages, then the ZEN icon (! in the orange circle) popped up in my notification area. I clicked it. Then I clicked update and it updated with no errors.
They must have fixed it. Thank you all of you.

suselinuxfan the first version of SUSE Linux I got to use was 9.1. I enjoyed using it because of it's ease of use. It was one on the first few distros of Linux I got to try. Another I tried was Red Hat 9.1 both were very nice on the eyes. suselinuxfan if I need any help with SUSE Linux may I turn to you for help? Thank you.
SUSE Linux was not the first distro I used. The first I used was Mandrake 9. It was OK. But when my friend told my about SUSE and downloaded me a copy. I left Mandrake and started using SUSE.
Thank you very much suselinuxfan. I appreciate any help I can get. I hope to learn to use Linux easily and quickly. But if I'm going to do that I'll have to study, study and study hard! Thank you everyone for making me feel welcome here.!
