Hello from Pennsylvania
'ello. As a recent college grad, I've just changed job titles from "student" to "unemployed."
I've been building computers for maybe 5 years now and am trying out my first linux box. Reasons being that I've wanted to learn linux for a while now, had the extra hardware lying around, wanted to get my 200gb (secondary) hard drive out of my shuttle that was over-heating, and also move my phone's WEP proxy server (same username at v710.org) off my PC. Just to start out I'd like to set it up as a file and print server on a home network, then possibly some web hosting once I figure out what I'm doing. Non-techie hobbies: I'm a former rock climbing instructor with my new hobby being SCUBA diving where I'm a NAUI certified Advanced and Rescue diver working up to (probably) instructor (part time) once I get the $ for the certs. Games: Worms Armageddon (different username) and I pride myself on being one of the few b.net users who is literate (warcraft3, DOTA). |
