Hello from an old guy.

Occasional visitor, finally registered, hope I have something to add.

I've been using Unix since the days of BSD 4.1 (1980), and am currently administering Redhat Enterprise Linux and Solaris, with some Fedora, Ubuntu, and Mac OSx thrown in. My current interests are High Performance Computing (HPC), Virtualization, and Cloud.

Glad to see someone of your caliber joining the forum. I love your location. Remember the first time my server guys started telling some users their issue was "ID-10T."

Fellow old-guy here, and have also been using Unix since the early 80's. Welcome!

Welcome to LQ

Never to late to learn something new.

ID-10T is similar to the Air Force:
" Take your head out of the up and locked position"
