Hello All FOSS users .
I have returned to the forum. I have been using Slackware since release 3.1 and it is still my favorite distro.

Hi Roy and welcome to the forum!

Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion.

I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate.

All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

Welcome back Roy! Four more years, or do you hope for a longer run this time around?

I just watched that with my son last week - never grows old! The best of the best non-cgi effects!

As I recall, Ridley Scott says that Rutger Hauer improvised those lines himself because he thought the scene was deadpan as written. Now it is one of the most memorable in all sci-fi movies! Great stuff!

Blade Runner was iconic. I was going to say that I just hope they don't try to remake the movie.

But then again, there are tons of follow-ons or remakes which I've never paid attention too.
