Hello Everyone!

Well I finally got around to the intro. I know it's a little late but, I got so pumped at finding this site that I just dove right in

I'm 37 live in Georgia, USA. I'm a Software Engineer, currently mostly working in Java. I've been in IT for about 12 years, started out running batch jobs at night on an IBM System 36. Moved up to an AS/400, and started programming in the language that starts with a C but has more letters,...*cough* COBOL *cough*...

I've been using Linux for about 3 years. Believe it or not I was once an avid or is that rabid , Windoze user. I know, the shame... I actually argued strongly against switching some of our servers over to Linux.

To make a long story short, I finally gave in and installed Red Hat 6.2 on an old PC we had just to get a feel for it, and I was hooked! I'm now slowly but surely replacing our Windoze servers with Linux. All of our developers are using Linux, regular users are next, they just don't know it yet

So, that's me, ex Windoze drone.., current Linux advocate and Microsoft basher Don't get me wrong, if you like windoze that's fine by me, just don't try to convert me!
