Hello dear friends

Hello dear friends.
I am a beginner and my nickname is Nicolas.
I am 21 years old, and I hope I have succeeded in Linux.
I asked a question in another part of the site, but do not show!

I hope my question is displayed.

Long Live Linux :p

Hi and welcome to LQ.

I'm afraid your other post does not show up. I think you'll need to post it again.

Nicolas1390 07-22-2011 09:12 AM

Thank you for the answer :-}
My question was very long! Should I write again?
There is no problem, I ask the question again :-}

Thanks again :-)

Just make sure you choose a relevant section of LQ.

Nicolas1390 07-22-2011 09:26 AM

My question was about Squid , but because I am a beginner , I had a new thread here :
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/linux-newbie-8/

Is this true ?

Thanks again :-)

sycamorex 07-22-2011 09:46 AM

Yes, if you are a beginner, that seems like an appropriate section of the forum.
Normally you'd just click the 'New Thread' button, create a post, and click 'Submit New Thread' at the bottom.
If it didn't work, it MIGHT be a question of some restrictions on new users. I don't remember the exact policies,
but as far as I know there are some restrictions for newly registered users regarding eg. attaching files. Did your
post contain just text or did you try to attach something?
Try again. If you don't succed, probably one of the moderators can help.

Thanks , no my post contain just text .

after I created the thread , it showed a message like this:

you should wait until the moderator confirm your thread...

Thanks a lot.

Ok, I see. Then you just need to wait. Please don't create a new thread.

Have fun on your linux journey.

Thanks , alright.
I'm sure I will.

Thanks again.

Hi, welcome to LQ!

And approved your other post - sorry for the delay, unfortunately there's
not always one of us around when posts get auto-moderated; I didn't notice
your post until just then. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Cheers,
Tink
