Hello and hoping you can help
I am not new to Linux, but somewhat new to Debian.
I have installed Linux Mint based upon Ubuntu and had no problems configuring and using.
I just recently installed Linux Mint Debian Edition based on Betsy.
I have it up and running fine withe one exception.
I cannot get Wine to install. I have not had this problem in Ubuntu based distro.
When I access the Software Manager and select Wine to install, it goes through the process and says it is installed. But it does not show in my installed packages list. I've never seen this before.
The small size of the package in the Software Manager leads me to believe that there are other dependencies that are not installing.
I am running 64 bit Debian install.
I wasn't aware this site existed. Glad to find it.
Thanks in advance for any help.
I intend to participate here and contribute.
Thanks
Len
