Hey LQ!
My name is Jacek (MrElusive603). I'm 28 years old and I work in IT providing networking/VOIP technical support.
I have a few certifications in networking fields, but in recent years I have decided to branch out into Linux as well. I've passed the
LPI Essentials exam and I am currently studying for the
LPIC-1 System Administrator certification.
I run a server at home which me and my gaming buddies use for various things (TeamSpeak, Dokuwiki, game servers etc). I originally ran CentOS 7, but have since switched to Arch Linux and most recently Debian. I've taken a keen interest in Slackware, but I'm still learning all the nuts and bolts of it, especially regarding their approach to package management lol.
This forum has helped me out of many Linux-related issues in the past, so I felt I might as well join the community properly.
Who knows? Maybe one day I might actually be able to help a fellow Linux newbie out
