Just figured I would pop in and say hi to the site. I'm currently working on picking out my very first Linux distribution so that is exciting. I've already made a post in the Distributions forum and am waiting on mod approval. Here is hoping that I've managed to find a friendly and helpful community make breaking into the Linux world a bit easier!

Yea, it's not the 'final' setup/solution of max speed, but it's sooooooooo EASY! JUMP in!
