Smile Greetings from Goose Creek SC

I have recently gotten back into the Linux scene. The last time I messed around with Linux was in the Red Hat days many moons ago. I am pleased to see that things have progressed to the point where it is a bit easier for newbies to use it. I have been an IT professional now on the Windoze side of the world for almost 18 years. It seems as if more and more employers are looking for Linux experience and I thought that I would take that as a hint and get my feet wet with Knoppix and Ichthux. I am married, have four children and attend church in Goose Creek SC. I spend a lot of time online so feel free to say howdy. Take care and thanks for letting me be a part of this community.

No idea

Those dont ring a bell with me. I do remember that it took me almost 6 hours to get Linux installed the first time. I had to tear apart my computer and find out the chipset numbers so I could plug that information in for the install procedure. What a pain in the keister that was. LOL... Thanks for the welcome
