This is mine etc/modules.conf file:

alias eth0 ne2k-pci
alias usb-controller usb-ohci
alias eth1 3c501
alias sound-slot-0 emu10k1
post-install sound-slot-0 /bin/aumix-minimal -f /etc/.aumixrc -L >/dev/null 2>&1 || :
pre-remove sound-slot-0 /bin/aumix-minimal -f /etc/.aumixrc -S >/dev/null 2>&1 || :

Is the above good or bad??? I'm a total analfabetic when it comes to that

Sorry for reacting this sluggish, but hadn't real time to look after your pointers for a few days
But now I have and it is not working Let me update you on my current situation :
I've editted the modules in /etc/modules.conf but that is not working
I still havent the slightest idea how to run Kudzu
Bios settings are all fine right now No plug&pray (Plug&playOS to be exactly )and ac 97 anymore
And yes, I tried the redhat-config-soundcard so many times, I have nightmares about it
I really appreciate it if you take look at this n00by stuff one more time
grtz
