Cool Greetings

Good day, my name is Gerard and I am new to Linux. I hope to write LPIC-1 as soon as possible and I will need all the support I can get. Can anyone tell me which Linux distribution I should install to get started. Thanks

Lightbulb

Perhaps start with one of these and later progress to Debian.
  • Linux Mint
  • Lubuntu
  • MX Linux
  • openSUSE
  • Peppermint OS
  • SparkyLinux
  • Ubuntu MATE
  • Xubuntu
  • Zorin OS

Greetings

I recommend a deb (debian/ubuntu) and a rpm (fedora/alma) based distribution.

How far did you get with your work on that?

Your only two posts are LPIC related; is there a specific thing you're curious about?

In deed I am. Actually I also started a thread were I was looking for a learning partner which disappeared somehow.
I was looking for experience how others prepared for LPIC which could help me, particular in how they learned.
