Getting to know linux

Hi everyone.
I have just joined this forum great to see everyone helping each other, well I was in IT but got out of the industry about 7 years ago, I have decided to get back into it and get up to speed so I have started to play around with Linux and I am loving it, I wish I taken the time to get into it years ago. David

What distro are you using?

I kinda like PCLinuxOS and Ubuntu, but at work it's all Red Hat (and Solaris, HP-UX, etc.). So your choices there might be influenced by whether you're doing this for yourself or to learn professionally.
