Gentoo + Slackware user

Hello all. Visited here a few times, so I thought this time I should register. I run Gentoo 2006.0 on a 64bit AMD 3500+ 1GB RAM, 300GB SATA drive, and Slackware 10.2 on a Pentium III 1GHz withn 256MB RAM and 40MB drive. Also run Smoothwall 2 on a Pentium 233MMX with 128MB RAM and a 1.6GB drive. Used to run SuSE but it got too big, slow and cumbersome. Tried FC5, didn't like it. Treid Kuuntu for a day. When I rebooted, the resolution changed and I couldn't get it back. Kubuntu out, Slackware in. Been using Linux for years. I remember editing scripts to get my modem working in the mid nineties That's me in a nutshell.

Edit : now running Slackware 12, looking at getting Gentoo running again. Might wait for their frist release of 2008 before I do. Was running on 64bit system, but mobo died, waiting for replacement/fix.
