Hi everyone. I've been lurking around this forum for awhile, but not posting. I pretty much stay on the PCLinuxOS forum, as it the distro I use for home and church activities. I love using Linux, and find it to be the best OS for me. It's cheap or free, and I'm unemployed right now. It has the tools I need to do my volunteer work at my church, and using Open Office, I can write on my machine and print at the church using their Microsoft OS. I'm just sorry I haven't found a database which I can work with, but I'm still looking. I like LXDE, and KDE I use both, LXDE on my laptop, and KDE on my desktop. The advantage to me of Linux is it's low cost, user community, and the many platforms it runs on. I'm not, by any idea, a newbie, but far from an expert. Well, that's my first post, hope the forum software is now a happy camper.
