Dual boot Linux Suse 10.0/Windows XP Pro, Linux non-boot

I have a dual boot system with Windows XP Pro and Linux Suse 10.0 (from the Linux bible book).

Since my hard drive doesn't show full amount of storage I had to make 3 Linux partitions and one for Windows.

The Windows I had installed earlier was not legit so I bought a OEM version and registered it. Now Suse will not boot up the screen reads I/O error. I cannot find my installation disk which could be necessary to repair it.

Windows boots OK? If it does, and if you can't find your SUSE CD, you can download a rescue CD, such as Knoppix, boot from it and fix your bootloader, which probably is where the error lies. If you can't boot Windows, you can probably use the OEM disk to rescue the Windows system and then get Knoppix. Alternatively you can always download the SUSE 10.0 .iso and make yourself a new disk...
