can some one guide me properly for my questions regarding redhat 9.0


hello to all,

well am new to linux recentlly installed redhat linux9.0 on my dell D500 laptop.
i have 4 questions if someone can giude me properly will be highly appricieted at my end.
my questions are as follow.
1. i have dual boot linux + windows is there any way to switch these to OS without reebooting.
2. my linux is not supporting my dell D500 dispaly drivers and i am getting a large diplay ,,,,kindly guide me how to install the driver properly.
3. how can i communicate with my office pc running with windows xp. i need to shaer and transferr file with these PCs.
4. how can i install patches i downloaded from net for linux.

kindly reply me ASAP

Pretty unlikely you'll get any help since RH9 is old as the hills, and no longer supported by Redhat. Why did you install it anyway? Get a recent version of Fedora.

thanks alot for ur suggestion i,ll now instal fedora and then ask u for further help if needed.
