Cambridge Area-Physically Challenged

Dear Forum

Greetings from another newbie in the Cambridge area.

Physical restrictions impose limitations which can surely be worked around.

Looking forward to developing a fascinating hobby without the additional software restrictions (and expense) imposed by Microsoft.

Kind regards,

John

Thank you very much for the welcome.
My level is incredibly basic, as I do not normally even type in "dossy" commands.
Two books I have are
Linux is Easy Steps by Mike McGrath, and the
Knoppix Pocket Reference by Kyle Rankin.
If anyone knows any other books which start from beginner, and ascend the learning curve, I'd be grateful to know.
Looking forward to learning in the forum.
Regards,
John

Check out RUTE, Running Linux and Linux in a Nutshell (both from O'Reilly - see our book review section) - that should keep you going.
