Greetings Linux users,
Just recently, I had the opportunity with switching back into using Linux again. It feels so good. Originally, I had started using Linux when an anti-virus program had suggested that it could speed up my hard drive and "make it run faster and more efficiently". The program actually wiped out most of the windows files. The year was back in '95, if you can remember the countless disks of Microsoft updates. I happened to install Red Hat Linux instead. Those were the days of scrolling through several options for configuring and optimizing custom Linux kernels.
Thankfully, today Linux has come a long, long way. Earlier, I was forced to get back into Windows because of the lack of Tax software that could run on Linux. Running Fedora 27 and PlayonLinux, I am now able to run my favorite tax preparation software "Drake Software", which was strictly developed for Microsoft Windows. Using PlayonLinux along with wine has made me happy again.
