Back after a long absence
I used Linux exclusively at home (mostly SuSE) between 1997 and 2005, but not at work as I'm a developer by profession and our work platform is Microsoft.
In 2005 I moved back to Windows at home in order to gain use of photography tools that provided better support for raw image processing than Linux had at the time. I still use Windows on my home desktop but having an older laptop restricted to 4GB of RAM, Windows is super slow on it. So today I installed Linux Mint on the laptop and finding my Linux knowledge incredibly stale, I need to refresh my memory of Linux use, which has of course also changed considerably since 2005 so there will be much to learn.
