When I first joined this site, I had just installed Ubuntu 8.10 and knowing nothing about Linux I joined this site to help answer my questions. Several years later,I'm now using Ubuntu Mate 16.04 on my main machine plus Raspbian-Pixel on several RaspberryPi's.
Distribution: openSUSE(Leap and Tumbleweed) and a (not so) regularly changing third and fourth

No necessarily, many people spend plenty of years on the site and never make a first post for many, many years. I think the record I've seen was someone who signed up in '04 that sent an introduction sometime last year.
