Am trying to install Linux on my new Acer Aspire 4330 ....

Hi guys. I'm a newbie. I just bought a new Acer Aspire 4330 laptop. It's currently running Windows XP Professional but I want to dual boot it with a Linux distro that has all the necessary drivers for its hardware. I'm also using openSuSe 10.2 on my home pc but I'm not sure it has the latest linux drivers for my machine. Could somebody point me to a distro that stands the best chance of having all the drivers for my laptop? Thanks

Hi. I'm a newbie as well and I also have an Acer Aspire 5335-2238. I recently installed Ubuntu 8.10 and I have not been able to get my wireless working. It works fine in Windows {I'm set up to dual-boot}, but when I restart in Ubuntu, it doesn't show "Wireless Connections" in my Network Manager icon tray. I checked a couple of Linux forums online and found I wasn't the only one with this problem. I've read that there is a new release of Ubuntu 9.4 coming out April 23 that should have a fix for this and other bugs. Unless you want Sabayon , Freespire, or another version of Linux, I would just save yourself some heartache and wait till then.I hope this helps.
