adobe flash played for RHEL -4 Update 5 ( 64bit)

Hi

I am Abhay,

I have install RHEL 4 update 5 (x86_64) version on my production server. but when I install flash player its not supported to (x86_64).

My firefox version
is firefox-1.5.0.10-0.1.el4
Please suggest how I install
flash player on it.

regards,
Abhay

As far as I know, flash isn't supported on any 64-bit Linux distribution. Somebody probably has a workaround for this (or then not), but if you really need it, install 32-bit OS for now.

No need to scrap a whole 64 bit distro just for flash player ... just grab a 32 bit Firefox version, which will run on a 64 bit distro just fine. Or you can use libpluginwrapper which will let you use a 64 bit Firefox but may be a bit trickier to set up (don't know ... never tried).

Did you mean nspluginwrapper, btmiller? It's quite straightforward to set up and it's perfectly stable.
