A note to introduce myself. Andy in UK, South East.

Just a note to introduce myself and say how glad I am to be able to use a forum like this.

I'm in England and am very much a newbie as I only have the beginnings of the rudiments of the commandline. I have recently installed Vector Linux and have also been using Debian Lenny. I am very pleased with both and greatly appreciate being able to use an opperating system that is non-proprietory.

I've got some difficulties getting my vector linux filemanager to recognise my harddrive partitions. I will make an appropriate post in a relevant part of the forum.

Once again, glad to be here and access this resource and being able to use Linux..
