A Linux convert from Kazakhstan

Hey community! I am an excited Linux convert from the exotic Kazakhstan in Central Asia.
It took me a few years of hesitation and busyness to finally come to installing a Linux distro equally with Windows (not as a VMWare virtual machine), so I count myself as a newcomer to the club. I sincerely hope I will stay with Linux for a long long time.
Feel free to drop me a line if you want to communicate with me!

cheers,
seafish_69

ps. on a related note, if ever there's need in Russian translation (man, user's guides etc.) please let me know - will be happy to help!

Welcome to the club. As far as Russian translation goes, I'm sure any number of projects, distrobutions, etc. would love to have you on the team! You should pick a project or distro you really like and see about helping out if they need it.

Which distro did you pick for your first one?

I have SuSe 10 as my first distro. I will check on the SuSe website if they need any help with translation or similar assistance.

2librano: thanks a lot for your kind words! cheers to you (is is proper to say so in English?)

Best regards

It is proper to say in English, but I think most English speakers would just say "Cheers!" instead of "Cheers to you!"
