wusb11 v2.8 network install??
Is it possible to do a network install over a wireless network. I have a wusb11 ver2.8 (never buy it). But I was wondering if i could do the network install with this b/c I hate buying cd's to burn linux with. I have done the network install in the past, but I do not know if you can add drivers and stuff to make the wireless network connection work during the initial install. If anyone knows anything about this PLEASE PLEASE help me.

I've never done a network install, but I'm assuming that you need to be able to boot to a functional kernel to start. That means that the kernel you boot from would have to have wireless capabilities compiled in. If you can boot from that kind of a kernel, then you might be able to install drivers for your wireless card. However, you'd probably have to pre-compile the driver modules and include those on your boot disk since you aren't going to have things like the kernel source or a functional gcc to compile with.
I gotta believe that buying a CD or two is gonna be a WHOLE lot less painful. Quote:
