wpa_supplicant disconnects

Hello everybody

I think I have a little problem, but i cant understand why... I dont really know much about wpa-psk neither am i a linux guru, but this is a point i dont get any further...

I got two APs: DLinks DWL-2000AP and DWL-900AP. WNIC is DWL-G520
madwifi driver version: ? cvs makefile in Folder ath is dated 10th July 04 (up-to-date)
wpa_supplicant version 0.2.3

Connection without encryption is superb, no disconnects, but when i try to use wpa-psk the connection times out (see logs below). Every configuration parameter seems ok (after one day work or so i think ). The 4-way handshake takes place, but it loses connection instantly after connection. The DWL-900AP logs 'authentification successful' and then 'paeDISCONNECTED'.

Question: Why does it disconnect???

I got no problem with win2k and WPA-PSK and all the DWLs. I works fine with no disconnects at any time.

Please help !!!

Thanx in advance
drz

Following outputs may be of interest:

[root@drz etc]# iwconfig
lo no wireless extensions.

eth0 no wireless extensions.

It always shows up 1Mb/s, though I tried to adjust the bit rate manually, but it works without wpa-psk, so i dont think this is a prob.
