Exclamation wpa with acx111 chipset on xubuntu 7.04 feisty

wow where do i start...ok i'm using xubuntu 7.04 feisty and a need to get on a wpa network with a usr5410 pcmcia card which uses the TI acx111 chip set. currently the computer cannot access the internet

there are many problems at hand starting with the fact that the native driver doesn't work with wpa so i need to know how to get rid of the announce. then i need to know how to use ndiswrapper as the driver (i believe that this will support wpa). then i need help with all the lovely wpa_supplicant configurations etc.

any and all help is more then welcome.

P.S. is this an unusually difficult thing to do? because I've been tried every possible thing that i could find all with no success not to mention i tried this about 6 months ago with the last gen of xubuntu, also with no success.

networking, wpa
