WPA Supplicant problem...

I'm running Mandriva 2006 on a Dell C640 laptop with an Atheros ar5212 PCMCIA WiFi card (Wireless G). I can connect to non-encrypted networks, but am having problems connecting to my own wireless router using WPA protection...

I'm using the ndiswrapper drivers rather than the madwifi drivers for the card...

I know the router works, because my Palm LifeDrive connects just fine, as do friends who bring their MAC OSX laptops, etc...

I installed the latest wpa_supplicant for Mandriva from the mirrors, but no good..

What would be the proper command line to cause the laptop to connect???

Switched the router (and laptop setup) to WEP and I still have problems connecting...

Apparently whenever I am using encryption... it is not working correctly...

Anyone have a starting point for dealing with this problem?

Still having the problem,...

The machine works fine with unencrypted networks (like the one at my girlfriend's house that I am using right now).

But still, WEP or more importantly, WPA encryption just yields no result.

I'm using Mandriva 2006.

Any suggestions...
