WPA on Ubuntu 7.04 - Belkin Broadcom (bcm43xx driver)
Hey all this is my first post but here goes:
I have a Belkin wifi g-card with a broadcom chipset. I am using the bcm43xx drivers on Ubuntu 7.04. I can see a bunch of wifi networks around me (including my own) & I can connect to unencrypted & wep encrypted networks but am unable to connect to wpa encrypted networks even though I can see them. I am trying to use the Network Manager that comes with Ubuntu & I have tried many google searches but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?

(I will probably not be available to check replies until sometime tomorrow.)

Welcome to LQ!

To use WPA encryption, you have to use a program called wpa_supplicant. It is likely already installed on Ubuntu, and if you do some searching here, there are loads of threads on configuring it and getting it running. I've also got a section on my help site (link in my sig) on using it.
