wlan finally working, but...

Hi there,

After struggling with it for the last few hours, i've finally got my centrino laptop (running slackware 10.1 if it matters) talking to my linksys router. The only problem is that when i disconnect the network cable from my network card (eth0) to use my wireless connection (eth1), it keeps looking at eth0 for access to my network and internet. Does anyone know what would cause this, and how to fix it?

Thanks,

Andy

If you only disconnect the cable your default route is still pointing to eth0. You must put down your eth0 with: ifconfig eth0 down
