wlan card drivers


well, dlink totaly screwed me over...emailing them got me here...

"We currently do not have drivers or support for the following:
- Linux
- Macintosh
- Windows 95
- Windows 98 First Edition
- Windows NT"


heh...how many operating systems DO they support then? lol

ANYWAY! i need drivers for my dlink usb wireless network adapater (model DWL-120+). I did some research and found that the chipset is a Texas Instruments PCI1420. heres what i got from lspci. oh yea, im using Debian (Knoppix 3.3) Kernel 2.4.24-xfs.

okay....heh....i learn new stuff every day now (im a linux noobie). I would appreciate if u could help me on this one...wlan would really be usefull =D lol

Try ndiswrapper or driverloader. Both will work with the Windows XP driver that came with your card.

www.linuxant.com/driverloader

They both work well with my Netgear wg311v2 card which uses the TI ACX111 chipset.
