Wireless usb Linksys (WUSB54G) Help!!!

Hi All, I've to say that I'm fairly new to Linux and I've been trying to install my wireless usb network card(WUSB54G, it's ) on my linux 9.0, but I'm couple of problems. First, I was told that all all wireless linksys adapters use broadcom chips. So I tried installing that on my computer (Network configuration) but the thing it's not getting recognizde.
I'm not sure how to do this, but i know that I've to enter my workgroup(@HOME) and also my full computer name, (ck670....) somewhere and I don't know where do I have to enter all these information. Please help me out.

Not all linksys wireless adapters use broadcom, maybe that is true for all linksys 54G cards, I don't know.

I do not see support for the card currently. I read that it is being worked on. Check out http://prism54.org in future for possible updates.

I wouldn't worry about workgroups, that is only needed if you decide to run samba after the card is configured, definitely not needed for linux communications setup.
