Wireless printing through Apple Airport using an IBM
I recently bought an IBM think pad. My wireless connection is through my wife's Apple Airport. She has our Canon printer plugged directly into the Airport via USB, and is able to print wirelessly. I have downloaded the drivers on the IBM and am able to print when I plug the USB in directly. However, the IBM does not sense the printer when it is plugged into the airport.
I have messed around with almost every option on the print setup wizard in Windows XP to no avail. Am I missing a fundamental step, or is there further software necessary?

Thanx, EW

Which linux distribution are you using and are you using CUPS/LPR/LPRng to print?

Printing through Apple wireless
I appreciate the prompt reply, but you'll have to excuse my ignorance. I'm not sure what you meant, so I doubt if I'm doing it. The Canon works fine with other apple computers. Since it's plugged into the Apple Airport, they seem to sense it without any tampering, much like how my IBM Thinkpad senses the wireless network. It doesn't, however, sense the printer unless it's plugged in directly. Is there anything I can do to get my IBM to sense the Canon printer while it's plugged into the Apple Airport router?
