Very simple : You are using the wrong compilers.

Please start from scratch with a new unpacked Aqua-Sim-1.0.tgz ,
.. and then please use the right command to build the app :
$ export CC=gcc41 CXX=g++41 && ./install
Ref. post #69.

You don't. All versions can be installed at the the same time.
Using : $ export CC=gcc<?> CXX=g++<?> && <other-command>

Quote:

! Not required. Please do not edit anything !
Aqua-Sim-1.0(.tgz ) can be built as is, by using :
export CC=gcc41 CXX=g++41 && ./install

P.S. : Are you quite sure that your Ubuntu 12.04 is 32bits ?
This command will tell : $ uname -m <Enter>
.. The reply is `i686' for 32bits, and `x86_64' for a 64bits OS.

Wrong. You will have to reboot. See #47.
Then you can check with :
1) $ which gcc41
2) $ which g++41
... The replies from the two command should be :
1. /usr/gcc41/bin/gcc41
2. /usr/gcc41/bin/g++41
