Wireless...... not work

Ok, I have the wireless card driver installed, my wireless card gets the IP data, everything seems to work. But, I can't access the internet, at all. I can give you more information if you would like, thanks.

Lil more: I have an HP laptop running Fedora Core 4. My wireless card is an 802.11b wireless card using Interstil 2.5 chipset. I have my configuration checked, as I have made sure all the options look right, but it still refuses to work. Any other info you need I will gladly supply.

How do you get an IP address, static or DHCP? Also, what happens when you try to access the internet?
