wireless networking setup rh9

i have a smcs532w-b wireless card and under win2k there is a gui that came with the card that shows nearby wireless connections and to connect all i need to do is doubleclick.

I am having a hell of a time getting this card working under rh9, but does linux have a similar gui? Do i have to manually change /etc/wlan/wlan.conf and /etc/wlan/wlancfg-SSID each time i want to join a network?
