Don't know about that card, but sure, apt-get needs internet to download the drivers and all the other stuff, you need/want
.
It looks like it is a Broadcom card you have, I suggest to use ndiswapper and the MS XP driver.
1: Make sure you got a working internet-connection (ie: Ethernet)
2: sudo apt-get install ndisgtk ndiswapper-common ndiswapper-utils-1.9
(or use Synaptic, search for "ndis").
3: Get the MS driver-CD, use ndiswrapper to install the XP driver and you shoud be on the Net - wireless
