Wireless Card Config Question

I have a TRENDnet TEW-228PI wireless network card. When I boot into Mandrake 10.0 and I can get to the part where you have to select which driver to use, but I don't know which driver to use. If anyone has gotten this to work, please tell me how/what drivers work for it.

Thanks,
Alex K.

This card uses the Realtek 8180 chipset.

The drivers at http://www.realtek.com.tw/ only work for kernel versions 2.4.21 and below. Mandrake 10.0 has 2.6 kernel.

You will need to use the ndiswrapper. This "wraps" the windriver for use by linux. It is built into Mandrake 10.0.

See at http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/ and read the documentation for the version in Mandrake 10.0.

I have an Admtek card and have used the ndiswrapper 0.4 with success in Mandrake 10.0. I removed the built-in ndiswrapper files and built and installed ndiswrapper 0.4. I have had success with that version.
