wireless broadcom issues

I have unbutu feisty 6.10 on a dell 131L and cannot get wireless.

i type in lspci | grep Broadcom\ Corporation and get:
Code:
05:00.0 network controller: Broadcom Corporation Unknown device 4311 (rev 01)
08:00.0 NEthernet controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4401-B0 100Base -TX (rev 02)
i tried using ndiswrapper to install the bcm4318.all.tar.gz file. that didn't work though...ndiswrapper confuses me D:

There's nothing confusing about ndiswrapper :D

A few months ago I "upgraded" to SuSe 10.2 and got in trouble using wireless cards
for the second time , the first time being with SuSe 9.2.

Not having all day and not being active for a 100 yeas in the IT sector
I still am a newbie after using Linux for just over 2 years now.

Having said that I like to point out that I did manage to find the answers
I needed thanks to some very helpfull people .

So here's what I did , have a look if you will :

I started out with :

1 - Installing NDISwrapper

This worked perfectly for my asus airforce one card with a marvell chipset
but absolutely not for my other card - same type but revision 2 - with a broadcom chipset.

So I came here to find some help and found what I was looking for :
2 - Network card driver module bcm43xx blocked

Last but certainly not least , did you have a look in the HCL list ?
It's almost certain to contain invaluable information to get going

I hope this will get you started .
It contains your LAN card but not your wireless card but the solution
should be parallel to any BCM43xx type of card I figure so have a look here .

3 -Broadcom network cards
