Wireless Bridging / Disjoint Networks

Hey guys, having some issues while trying to bridge my wireless network, here are the details:

I have a Linksys WRT54G wireless router with WPA2 encryption on the main floor of my house.

In the basement of my house is my workshop which has absolutly no connectivity, and no possibility of me drilling a hole, or snaking a cable down.

In my shop I have a Debian server with a wireless card (Atheros AR5200 I think) , and two ethernet cards (Broadcom and Realtek). I also have a hardware switch.

Idealy what I am trying to do is connect my two networks together, via wireless.

I have tried sticking the Atheros into Infrastructure mode, and bridging my connections, sticking the Atheros card into Infrastructure mode and setting up IPTables rules to Nat and route all my traffic, and even went so far as to try it on a different box and use the Firestarter GUI firewall software to try the ICS that it has, and nothing seems to work.

Anyone have any ideas, or configurations, or even ever get this to work? I've crawled around google looking for anything relating to a setup like this and have found nothing.

Any help here would be greatly appriciated.
