I'm not an expert, but....
I'll try and point you in the right direction.
If I were you, I would post the output of the following command to this thread:
lspci
** You will need to be root for the command to work. **
No need to post the entire contents, just check for anything that looks like a network controller.
(Ethernet will be your nic card)
That should tell you if your card is recognized and give you a better idea of if there are linux drivers for the card, or if you will need to use ndiswrapper.
Belkin wireless card use Atheros chipset, you can use madwifi (http://madwifi.sf.net). Madwifi hasn't released any files yet so you just have to use CVS. It worked perfectly for me on Slackware 10 with a Belkin wireless PCMCIA card.
The F5D7000 uses Broadcom, no native linux drivers are available, you'll need ndiswrapper from http://ndiswrapper.sf.net, or DriverLoader from Linuxant.com ($).
You'll need to compile ndiswrapper from source, so make sure the development and kernel-source packages are installed. I can confirm that 0.10rc1 compiles and works ok with kernels up to 2.6.10 and all my wireless cards (not usb).
i have installed and tried ndiswrapper many times but it doesnt work. exactly how would i set ndiswrapper up for slackware/belkin. ask me to post anything if you need it.
