wireless assistant 0.5.7
 
I am using wireless assistant 0.5.7, and I ahave a wireless card installed in my system it is netgear wg311v3. I have sbc 2 wire dsl, and I can only connect to the router when I have disabled all of the security disabled on the router. the encryption is wep and is set to open. I have the key installed. I would appreciate the help

Try setting the WEP key directly with iwconfig instead of wireless assistant.

Make sure you're using a hexadecimal value and not ASCII in both the router and the Linux system - 10 digits for 64-bit and 26 digits for 128 bit.
