wifi drivers with other ethernet cards
 
hi i want to buy a wireless pci card, i am noticed that there is 2 different type of drivers, which is from sourceforge, other is from ndiswrapper. i read that if i use ndiswrapper driver i cannot use the ethernet cards on my machine, well what about drivers from sourceforge? thanks.

I don't know where you read about ndiswrapper preventing you from using another ethernet card, but it is completely wrong. Now it usually isn't a good idea to have two ethernet cards trying to operate at the same time, but ndiswrapper doesn't prevent you from using another card.

As for the sourceforge driver, could you be more specific? There are lots of drivers on sourceforge and if we know which one your looking at, we might be able to give you better advice.
