weird network problem

Hi there,
I have just installed a wireless network using a Sitecom Router and a Sitecom WL172 usb stick. the network works fine, but after a few minutes stops working.
I've tried disabling the DHCP and the MAC filtering without any result, and modifying some iwconfig parameters.
The only workaround I've found is to unplug the stick, and then to plug it again.
Do you have any suggestion?
Thank you,
Boris

Hi,

Did you try using a static IP? What about the lease time for the IP?

I've solved the problem. I've changed the extension cable I use to keep the stick on the desktop, and now everything is working fine.
I'm already using static IPs because I've read somewhere it is more secure.
Thank you,
Boris
