Smile Wi-Fi scan or ProbeRequest & ProbeResponse using libnl library

Dear Wireless Experts,

I am currently studying in Wi-Fi sensing technology using Wi-Fi signal.

I have tried several technologies such as Wi-Fi beacon signal, WI-Fi Direct, but it did not meet our requirements.

Therefore I tried to use wpa_supplicant but it did not meet either.

Finally I thought that I need to manipulate the 802.11 frames such as Beacon frame or ProbeRequest & ProbeResponse frames and
have found that libnl library might help me to do that.

(Reference: http://www.infradead.org/~tgr/libnl/)

Can anyone help me to get where to kick off? I have a C programming skill, some Linux experiences and a little Linux architectures knowledge.

Thank you.

Sincerly,
Younnghwan Jang
